Performance Specifications
DEUTSCH electrical connectors are built to withstand the harsh environmental challenges common to industrial markets that demand advanced performance. Proper parts, procedures and tools must be used.
Temperature: Continuous operating temperature range of -55° C to +125° C at rated current.
Durability: No electrical or mechanical defects after 100 insertions and removals.
Vibration: No unlocking or disengagement and no mechanical or physical damage after 20 G sinusoidal vibrations in each of three perpendicular planes at frequencies from 10 to 2,000 Hz. No electrical discontinuity greater than 1 microsecond.
Physical Shock: No unlocking, disengagement, or other unsatisfactory results during or after 50 G physical shock in each of three perpendicular planes. No electrical discontinuity greater than 1 microsecond. MIL-STD 202, Method 213, Condition “C”.
Fluid Resistance: No damage when exposed to most fluids used in industrial applications.
Insulation Resistance: 1000 megohms minimum (25°C)
Moisture Resistance: No electrical degradation or current leakage when submerged in three feet of water when properly wired and mated. Dielectric Withstanding Voltage: Less than 2 mA leakage at 1500 VAC.
Thermal Cycling: No cracking, peeling or leakage after 20 cycles at -55°C to +125°C.
